In the spirit of Marcel Duchamp's ready-mades (the shoulder strap is a nod to the chains of public toilets of the time) and inspired by the chainmail aprons of French butchers, it is assembled by hand . hand using simple pliers to form a seamless surface of metal pads.

This bag is the essence of avant-garde and experimental work according to Paco Rabanne .

Despite the absence of a logo on the original model, the bag is identified and coveted as soon as it is released thanks to the icons who wear it: Françoise Hardy and Brigitte Bardot.
